New Year, New News!

Happy 2025 to everyone. The Kickstarter launch of Lifeship looms exceptionally large in my mind andThe Ikarangi Labs team is working hard to get everything ready. With that, I have some super cool updates to share.

The Website Companion

Okay...so this is the most exciting thing. The Website Companion will not only deliver the story to you and allow you to make choices, Choose Your Own Adventure style, but it will track ALL of your choices and allow us to deliver completely bespoke outcomes and experiences over the course of your run based on your choices in every mission and encounter. It will also track your reputation with each of the 7 Lifeship Factions. This allows us to deliver content in individual missions based on your current Faction rep. Did you decide to space a bunch of Pirates who were surrendering to you early on? Pirates later in the game might know about that moment and act accordingly. Seriously, the Website Companion is super fast, easy to use, and man is the engine in the back powerful.

Lifeship Classes

We had initially developed 20 unique classes, split into 4 categories: Combat, Healing, Tech, and Salvage. We now have a massive 27 Classes! We are currently testing the new ones, but all signs point toward them being very fun, and different than the others.

VIP Signups

This is still in the early stage, but the plan is to have a $1 VIP reservation that will also come with a unique Premium Add-on for the game when you back it on Kickstarter. So, stay tuned for that.

Kickstarter Bonuses

We are working on our backer structure and different tiers/add-ons, but we already know one of them. One of the Tiers will be to have your likeness in the game as a unique character! Once we have the details a little more firm, I will let you know. But this one is super exciting as you would get to be a part of the Lifeship Universe, FOREVER.

That's it. Those are the exciting updates. Give me a soap box and I could shout about the game all day (Honestly, if you have ANY questions about the game, hit me up. I will answer your questions and THEN some.) But for now, I need to get back to writing, designing, and organizing everyone on the team.
